Support Engineer - Devops

  • Build, automate, deploy and operate the code/application in a private/public cloud infrastructure. Experience and Mindset - Build it, Own it.

  • Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing production system, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security of productions systems

  • Automate all the possible manual tasks around service deployment and administration.

  • Monitor the infra capacity and manage the alerts actively

  • Manage problems and root cause analysis with proper investigation and track

  • Do Production Readiness Review for all new deliverables

  • Perform daily monitoring and reporting according to SLA/OLA

  • Manage Major Incident, Incident, Request, Problem management as per production standards

  • Ensure change management and a smooth transition of services

  • Contribute to knowledge management

Profile Required

  • Hand on exposure and experience on devops tools like Jenkins ,sonar ,Jira ,GitHub ,monitoring  and load balancers.

  • Strong understanding of cloud hosting (AZURE) is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of container technologies (docker, docker Swarm & Kubernetes ) .

  • Strong  in Linux shell script or Python.

  • Experience in working with Puppet or Chef or ansible for automation and configuration

  • Experience with a distributed log tool such as Kafka ,ELK would be a plus

  • Hands on experience in setting CI/CD pipeline using Groovy Script.

  • Exposure with support on Bancs product and Payment platform
