Join an evolving team within Global Solution Centre Romania which manages one of the critical applications of SG Group. The team closely collaborates daily with other teams and applications, being involved in multiple evolutions, both functional and technological. A historical transformation program is being planned so we are staffing multiple teams and different skills to achieve the goal.
What you will do:
•Implementation of technical solutions;
•Manage and lead a team, guide, instruct, support your team members.
•Responsible for team development in terms of individual, people development and team working skills;
•Plan and follow-thorough team activities (Run or Change), support in overcoming blockers, prevent delays;
•Organize the team activities based on project needs (Agile, Waterfall, Mixed);
•Organize reporting to managerial layers and project management.
•Bachelor’s degree required;
•Collaborative approach with excellent communication skills;
•Automation drive: focus on automating routines in order to create time for the team to work on evolutions;
•Lean: changing is the new normal, adapting processes to accommodate changes in the organization;
•+2 years experience in managing IT software development teams in a multicultural matrix organization;
•Hands-on experience in Java (or other OOP), Spring Boot, APIs: Rest and SOAP, client side and server;
•Hands-on with SQL and relational dbs (Oracle, Postgre);
•Very good knowledge of UNIX/Linux and middleware;
•Solid experience in application integration (online and batch) and Enterprise Systems Architecture (e.g. EAI, SOA, micro-services, legacy integration);
•Experience in managing and exploiting third-party software (install, configure, test, versioning, upgrading, patching, maintenance);
•Knowledge of core development tools used within the company (e.g. Git, Maven, Jenkins) and monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk, AppDynamics, Cyberark, Grafana).
•Solid knowledge of French
