Responsibilities

8+ Years’ experience on Database Developer in an Agile environment

• 4 – 5 Years’ relevant experience REDIS, Cache and message broker

• Must be self-motivated and have excellent communications skills

• Ability to integrate & build interconnected applications, Automations and 

        API Integrations using SOAP or REST

• Strong Knowledge of Scripting with Python

• Strongly follow Agile Scrum methodology to make sure the projects are 

        accurately estimated and delivered on schedule

• Ability to work across multiple product lines with a variety of stakeholders 

        to achieve your objectives

• Expert in REDIS (Performance optimization, Proficient in REDIS queries & 

        collections, concepts of creating OLAP cubes)

• Strong Data Modelling experience needed. Solid understanding of data 

        modelling and design considerations for real-time and analytical system.

• Must have skills around scheduling, Metadata management, performance 

        tuning, audit Process, efficient Logging and alerting.

• Solid knowledge of SQL, database concepts, and REDIS DB internals

• Collaboratively participates in business requirements gathering sessions 

        and documents technical specifications readily resolve defects, and 

        maintain and implements high quality program changes, applying IT 

        development standards and practices

• Effectively collaborates with Quality Assurance Testing and business staff 

        to review application functionality and test results

• Provide accurate and timely estimates for assigned work and             

         documentation for all completed work assignments

• Leverage a detailed understanding of business processes and procedures          to prepare accurate and comprehensive user-level documentation

• Adapt existing methods and procedures to implement and test program     

        modules in line with functional requirements and development standards

• Assist peers with detailed program analysis & design for assigned work

• Middleware Administration skills 

• Experience in security principles and its implementation

• Provide technical solutions to support operations at scale and with high    

        availability.

• Recommend and implement solutions to improve performance, availability, 

        resource consumption, and resiliency.

• Provide reliable and verifiable solutions for data migration, schema 

        synchronization, and data protection.

• Good knowledge and hands on experience with Cloud, OPS and 

        automation

• Build and Deploy schema changes to production and non-production

• Ability to write and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts

• Lead in creating a sharp vision for the future

• Solve production problems and participate in technical discussions

• Conduct Root cause analysis of production-related database issues, 

        collaborate with engineering teams for solution

• On regular basis analyze the queries executed across environments, 

        discover bottleneck queries, and propose optimizations


Profile Required

Must have experience with the following: 
- RDBMS Administration ( Oracle / MS SQL / UDB DB2 / Informix ) 
- Recovery Manager (RMAN), SQL loader and Data Pump
- Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Oracle Data Guard
- Database Migrations, Patching, Upgradation and Partitioning of Tables
- System Centre Operations Manager (SCOM)
- Database Performance Tuning using Automatic Workload Repository (AWR) and Stats Pack
- Shell scripting and using KShell, Bourne Shell, Power Shell
- Logical Backup and Recovery using Data Pump, Export/Import
- Space, Undo, and User Management
- Managing Redo and Archive log files
- Net Configuration (Listener and TNSNames)
- Advanced Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
- Good knowledge of RDBMS Architecture concepts"
