Technical Leadership in Projects that are run in the perimeter and handling escalations.

Automations, self initiated service improvements and projects in the perimeter.

Lead the new projects and new activities,

Ensure end to end responsibility of technical issues and preparation of RCA.

Study on new technologies, RFP and improvement on existing technologies.

Identify and develop RUN activities that can be automated.

Change Management and the quality of realization of the change.

Escalation point for the Incidents.



Profile Required

 Responsible for Virtualization, Cloud and x86 hardware infrastructure.

Proficient in writing scripts to avoid manual/time consuming day to day operational activities.

Monitor, troubleshoot and capacity planning of VMware/x86 hardware infrastructure and take proactive actions when needed.

Management of vCenters and services like, snapshot,vMotion,vDS,vSwitch,dvSwtich,HA,DRS,Datastore Cluster, etc..

Upgrades or patching for ESXi/vCenter.

Planning and leading P2V/V2V/P2P migrations using Platespin/VMware converter.

Disaster Recovery tests with VMware SRM.

Responsible for configuring Rack servers or Blade Enclosures with management softwares, like HP Oneview, DELL OME, HP SIM, Nutanix suite.

Responsible for firmware update on Enclosure components.

Network/Storage configuration and troubleshooting such as vLAN,SAN/NAS and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

Experience in configuring x86 Hardware (HP/Dell Rack and Blade Enclosures) and knowledge about latest connectivity modules.

Experience in configuring HP Oneview/DELL OME/ HP SIM.

Must have good understanding of Network and Storage concepts like vLAN,SAN,NAS,connectivity, etc..

Experience in updating firmware on Enclosure components.

Vendor management.

Contribute to document and review standards and operational procedures.

Follow internal processes at all time (ITIL, time tracking, escalation).

Understanding of agile methodologies.

Work closely with peers worldwide by taking part in periodic meetings and sharing knowledge.
