Responsibilities

Mission

GSC GTS Private IaaS has a strong inclination towards cultivating innovative culture and adaptive mindset, with high adherences to agile principles and rituals.

The group of expertise in GSC/GTS/IAS enables and support various functions cutting across Emerging Technologies, Open Source Models and Methodologies, Delivery Management & Quality, Change the Bank Operations, Infrastructure Architecture, Security & Strategy, Production Support & Governance, Due Diligence & Transition and designing and delivering Cloud Infrastructure functions and features.

  • Monitor, triage & troubleshoot, 
    Install, upgrade, maintain and support Unix infrastructure
    Maintain and support services/applications under Unix team responsibility
    Monitor the Unix /VMware infrastructure and take proactive actions when needed
    Contribute to document and review standards and operational procedures
    Enforce technical and security standards for Unix infrastructures and services
    Follow internal processes at all time (ITIL, time tracking, escalation ...)
    Work closely with peers worldwide by taking part in periodic meetings and sharing knowledge
    Act as project manager for Unix/VMware infrastructures projects by providing regular follow-up on schedule, budget and issues.
    Participate in Follow The Sun support
    Participate in maintenance, weekend shifts and on duty

Profile required

Mandatory:

Linux, Red Hat Linux 5 / 6 / 7, Solaris 9/10, Veritas Volume Manager, x86 Hardware (HP/DELL/IBM), Volumetry on SAN / NAS, Veritas cluster, Vmware platform,

Scripting - Shell / Perl /Python

Tools: AD integration tools like Centrify, Configuration management tools like Ansible/Puppet
