Administration & Management of Virtual machines, clusters with HA and DRS enabled
Monitoring and configuring capacity issues in VMware env.
Installing and configuring ESXi servers
configuring and storage - VMFS5, VMFS3, NFS, RDM
Configuring and troubleshooting vMotion, Storage vMotion
VC access and authentical control including roles and permission
creating and managing snapshot
creating and managing host profiles and storage profiles
creating and managing Affinity rules
deploying and configuring Update Manager
Configuring and management of Alarms
Creating and deploying OVF, Template and clones
Excellent knowledge of HPE and DELL servers
Install, Monitor and troubleshoot hardware issues
Good to have Experience on Nutanix/Dell VxRail
Good to have experience in designing, deploying and managing VMware NSX deployments
Have leadership mindset and have a positive attitude towards organizational goals.
Monitor, triage & troubleshoot Virtual / Hardware server related incidents.
Install, upgrade, maintain and support VMware infrastructure.
Monitor the Hardware/VMware infrastructure and take proactive actions when needed.
Contribute to document and review standards and operational procedures.
Enforce technical and security standards for Windows infrastructures and services.
Follow internal processes at all time (ITIL, time tracking, escalation).
Work closely with peers worldwide by taking part in periodic meetings and sharing knowledge.
Handle system upgrades and migrations, in accordance with latest technology trends and SG global standards."
