Trade Finance Processing Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Process daily trade operations transactions, ensuring that customers’ trade transactions are performed in a timely and accurate manner, within service level agreement, in accordance with regulatory requirements, guidelines and bank’s procedures.
  • Assist manager and/or Head of Back Office to ensure that the Bank’s policies, guidelines, control, regulatory, AML and compliance requirements are strictly adhered to.
  • Contribute to transversal activities within the team, including coordinating on Internal Training schedules, Sits In sessions for the staff and tracking the status, Process Improvements and Daily Stand-up Meetings.
  • Contribute to various process improvement and other projects as allocated.
  • Ability to monitor the incoming/outgoing activities and reconcile periodically throughout the day. Additionally, track some of the other daily reports and perform reconciliation as needed.
  • Closely work with Managers on any topics assigned , track progress and report milestone.
  • This is a permanent position with Societe Generale. You will form part of the team on a full-time basis. In order to apply for this position please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time.

Profile required

Academic Background And Certifications, Experience

  • Fresh graduates only
  • Degree in Information Systems / Computer Science/ Business Management / or other applicable fields.
  • Solid experience in Excel Macros. Prior experience with VBA and/or Python preferred.
  • Past experience on projects linked to data analysis, process review and change management in school and/or during internships preferred.

Operational Skills

  • Able to work on projects linked to process improvements based on inputs/suggestions/roadmap provided by the manager or the team. For IT projects, should be able to share Operational requirements and be able to contribute to operational testing and related Change management awareness with users.
  • Ability to identify and provide operational solution to potential bottleneck in daily operation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skill
