Responsibilities

Join Société Générale Global Banking and Investor Solutions (GBIS) and more precisely you will be part of the Global Banking & Advisory (GLBA), in London.
As a VIE, you will support the Asset Backed Products (ABP) Front Officers, working on quantitative tools such as pricing models as well as conducting portfolio analysis and qualitative structural analysis.

Your main role is to support ABP traders in their day to day activities. You will work on various trades such as Repo, Collateralized Financing, Structured Credit Financing, Credit Facilities for various types of clients. Asset Class will be securitized products such as ABS/RMBS/CMBS/CLO as well as Loans.

You will have the opportunity to work in a trading desk environment working with Financing traders, Market Makers, Sales as well as Engineers.

 

 During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities:
- Work closely with trading, engineering, client support, middle office and risk to manage the current positions and sourcing new opportunities;
- Daily PnL analysis;
- Weekly and monthly reporting of the desk activity;
- Pricing and analysis of ABS deals including cash flows stress tests;
- Helping on specific projects to improve internal tools for relative value analysis and risk management of the book.

 


Profile Required

- Graduated from a Business School or University, with a master degree in Financial Engineering/Financial Mathematics, Statistics/Mathematics

The VIE assignment in a nutshell  

This VIE in London is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com.
