Description of the Business Line or Department

Lyxor Asset Management is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Société Générale Group represented in the UK by Lyxor Asset Management UK LLP that is authorised and regulated by the FCA, Lyxor Asset Management is an investment specialist that delivers asset management products, in all asset classes, to institutional investors. With a strong culture of risk-management and research, Lyxor stands amongst the leaders in innovative, transparent and flexible asset management.

The London team oversees all the clients’ relationships for all the Lyxor non-ETF products in UK, Nordics and the Netherlands.

Summary of the key purposes of the role

The Lyxor CRM Intern will be a full-time position that would entail being a dedicated resource for the UK based team which covers the sales and client relationship management of clients and prospects in the UK, Nordic and Netherlands markets. The Intern will be required to assist in communicating with existing and potential clients and managing clients’ inquiries.  The ideal candidate is a proactive, strategic thinker who is resourceful, organised, and driven to provide a high level of service to all current and prospective clients.  This position will report directly to the Head of Client relationships, UK, Nordic region and the Netherlands and will have exposure to the client service team, Client Relationship Managers and Sales as it relates to on-boarding and servicing of potential, new and existing clients.

Summary of responsibilities 

Work closely with the Head of Client Relationship Manager locally, Sales team developing, maintaining and expanding relationships with new and existing clients.

Develop a solid understanding of the firm’s funds, products, and services.

Help respond to clients’ requests on a timely basis via email and/or phone in consultation with the manager.

Manage weekly and monthly mailings of reports to clients

Client data management in CRM tools

Organise clients’ events, prepare agendas, coordinate with service providers

Level of Autonomy and Authority

The job holder will be allowed to make decisions related to the day-to-day aspects of the role.

Strategic decisions will need to be validated with the Head of Client Relationships.

Profile required

Competencies

Excellent writing and strong analytical skills

Good knowledge of Finance and products

Specific knowledge of Asset management and Hedge funds is a plus

Client-driven spirit

Reliable and quality-oriented

Self-motivated and self-organised

Comfortable working in time sensitive environments

Cooperation and team spirit

Pack Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint: Advanced / Access and VBA: Optional)

Knowledge of financial tools (i.e.Bloomberg) is a plus

WORK EXPERIENCE

Previous experience in Investment Bank, Asset Management or Private Banking.

EDUCATION

Minimum bachelors’ degree from engineering, management from business school or university.

LANGUAGES

Strong verbal and written English language skills required for all client communication. Another European language is a plus (like French, Dutch or Scandinavian).
