Société Générale group has been operating in Poland since 1976 which makes it one of the foreign banks with the longest presence in the country. It provides services in the area of corporate and investment banking (Societe Generale S.A. Branch in Poland), insurance (Sogecap S.A. Branch in Poland and Sogessur S.A Branch in Poland) and leasing (ALD Automotive and SG Equipment Leasing).


Internal Audit Department of SG Warsaw performs audit activities for the branch. The professional team accompanied by the IGAD central support and strong cooperation and synergy among the audit teams from the region sustained the good results of the audit activity.

Contract length: 1 year

Preferred start date: January 2023

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Involved in conducting in depth internal audit missions on a broad span of scopes of the bank (when necessary) in interaction with expert auditors from the HO) and controlling the respect of the regulatory framework
  • Delivering added value to the Bank’s management by issuing audit recommendations and reviewing their related action plans
  • Contributing to the information of the top management on emerging issues through a process of continuous monitoring of the risks of the entity and defining the audit plan for the next year

Profile required

Studies & experience:

  • Student status for the whole internship is necessary (min. 1 year), preferable fields of studies: economics, audit, banking
  • Minimum availability of 30 hours per week

Language skills:

  • Fluent Polish and English

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Very good organization of work, accuracy and analytical thinking, task-oriented
  • Commitment, collaboration skills, client and quality orientation
