We are seeking a Trainee Market Risk Advisor to join our Fixed Income & Currencies division of Global Markets at Societe Generale. As a member of the Market Risk Advisory team, you will be responsible for supporting the team in preparing tailored analysis for clients focusing on FX and rates risk management mixing corporate finance considerations and pure market inputs.

You will be responsible for analysing corporate clients’ market risk exposure, preparing client presentations on hedging considerations, and developing a corporate-specific tailored approach to promote hedging strategies. Additionally, you will work in collaboration with other teams on related projects, work on specific ad-hoc projects to help develop new clients’ approaches, support senior colleagues with their day to day work and activities, and interact with Derivatives Sales to better understand client behaviour and address strategic requests.

Profile required

The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent in a Finance-related discipline and work experience within a financial services environment. Excellent written and verbal English skills are required, as well as good teamworking skills, an analytical mindset, a good basic knowledge of Corporate finance and market products, good tool development and problem-solving skills, and a good level of commitment and work ethic.
