Responsibilities

• Perform Project Management Officer tasks including gather project updates and capex allocation for the project profile, manage outstanding issues log for the team, etc.
• Gather requirements from a wide-array of stakeholders (Regulators, FO, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Risk, Finance, IT, etc);
• Participate to industry working group (ISDA, ASIFMA…)Participate to industry working group (ISDA, ASIFMA…)
• Conduct a gap analysis and impact analysis with reference to the regulatory rules, business needs and all the internal requirements;
• Contribute to the design and/or enhancement of business and technology solutions and/or processes;
• Write Business Requirements Documents and test cases;
• Syndicate and validate solutions proposals with a wide-array of stakeholders;
• Follow-up on implementation; log and escalate issues and blocking points;
• Perform UATs and organize/conduct UAT sessions with stakeholders;
• Enhance and maintain transversal artifacts created as part of the documentation base for the Program;
• Adhere to standard PM/BA practices across REG team;
• Develop and extend knowledge of the regulatory rules and associated solutions.

Profile required

• Hold a relevant Bachelors or Masters degree from Engineering or Business School or University with a specializationin in  Finance, Business, Information Technology, Mathematics or similar
• Knowledge of/experience in the financial industry and with OTC Derivatives products
• Ability to assimilate, analyze and communicate a wide variety of information (verbal and written), ability to adjust communication style to audience
• Analytical and Problem solving skills, ability to break down a problem into constituent parts
• Strong organization skills and attention to the details
• Understanding of Software Development lifecycles and Agile methodology
• Use of Microsoft Office tools with ease, including Excel, Power Query and PowerPoint, etc.
• Display of innovation, team spirit and time management
• Fluent English is mandatory

This is a fixed term 12 month Trainee contract with Societe Generale. You will form part of the team on a full time basis. In order to apply for the Trainee position please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of the Trainee contract.

Department Description

Regulatory Project Team in SG Hong Kong is in charge of implementation of new regulatory requirements from OTC transformation program including Clearing, Margining, Reporting, Tax topics and Risk Mitigation. Working as part of the team, you will be working in close relation with APAC/Paris/London/New York teams for front-to-back transformation projects and responsible for contributing to impact analysis, requirement gathering, testing coordination and defect management; coordinating different application teams from distinct systems; liaising closely with business users, legal, compliance, risk, finance, operation, technology teams, industry bodies, exchanges and thirdparty service providers; being part of a global governance.
