Created on July 1st 2009 within the Corporates Resources and Innovation Divison (RESG), the Global Technology Services (GTS) department supports all the IT infrastructures of Société Générale Group and its subsidiaries (Crédit du Nord, Franfinance, etc.) in France and abroad. Today it represents almost 3500 employees around the world.


Its mission? To provide to the Group's businesses lines reliable IT services by providing offers, services levels and optimized costs that meet the needs of their internal clients; such as hosting business applications, workstations, collaborative services, network and telephony.


The Digital Workplace Services (DWS) Group is responsible for all services delivered to end-users like Desktop Services (Physical/virtual or mobile workstations, printing services), Unified communication services (Messaging ,  Phones, Trading Telephony and meeting room conferencing solutions) , collaboration services ,   user facing support functions and all associated technical services (collaborative tools, messaging, desktop engineering, security, technical directories) and all infrastructure services that support these services like User data management, IT directories and Multi-factor authentication, Packaging and software deployment services.


Corporate Communication & Business Communication Services (part of Digital Workspace Services technical stream) is responsible for Unified Messaging and Collaboration solutions (IM, VoIP telephony, video conferencing, etc.) CCS/BCS is a small dynamic team, managing and providing support in various technologies and implementing services to create a competitive edge for our business

Profile

Day to day responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Serve as a Senior-level Unified Communications expert with both operational and design engineering responsibilities in a Windows Infrastructure environment
  • Emphasis on Microsoft Lync/Skype, Enterprise Voice integration (Oracle/Acme Packet) SBC/ECB, Cisco Call Manager, and regulatory recording solutions (Verba, NICE NTR, Global Relay)
  • Key Focus on automation and DevOps within the Unified Communications Perimeter
  • Work closely with both IT and business partners to design and implement solutions supporting business needs
  • Within a team, design and implement critical business systems aligned with corporate strategic direction
  • Ability to multi-task and manage operational and project related tasks/responsibilities
  • Must be able to act autonomously and manage projects efficiently
  • This role requires the ability to explain & justify design decisions to IT peers and articulate the advantages and risks of alternative solutions
  • Responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting complex Skype/Cisco enterprise voice and unified communication issues
  • As required, perform root cause analysis, incident management, communication with internal clients / business partners / Service team members
  • Ensures all production changes are made in accordance with production lifecycle methodology and risk/change management guidelines
  • The senior expert will provide technical mentoring to other team members and actively participate in architecture reviews/strategic development activities
  • Strong hands-on technical skills, an analytical problem-solving mindset, delivery focus and client-orientation are all critical for this role
  • Participate/Contribute with after-hours/weekend work in rotation with all members of the team

COMPETENCIES
 
Required:
  • Must have hands-on architecture/design and implementation experience with expert level knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Lync/Skype, Active Directory, DNS), scripting (Powershell, Python, automation) and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with Unified Communications technologies related to Enterprise Voice, Archiving, and External Federation Services
  • Exposure to other infrastructure areas including: Active Directory, Vmware, NAS Storage, Backup & Recovery, SQL Server, etc.
  • Expertise and troubleshooting experience with TCP/IP, DNS and some level of experience with network infrastructure/topology
 
Desired:
  • Specific familiarity with Oracle/Acme Packet SBC or comparable products
  • Knowledge of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and/or Skinny Client Control Protocol (SCCP)
  • Involvement with Archiving solutions: Global Relay, NICE NTR, Verba
  • Forwarding thinking of implementing Ethical Wall and Machine Learning capabilities within the collaboration ecosystem
  • ITIL experience is preferred

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or the equivalent experience
 
Desired:
  • Certification in MS technologies and IT Project Management
