Responsibilities

Objectives:

Manage Japan FCU team and supervise team’s day to day operation. Specifically,

1. Ensure that all SG entities in Japan comply with relevant KYC/AML related regulatory requirements, including but not limited to APTCP, EU Directives, US OFAC regulation, MOF, METI, UN and other Sanctions & SG internal Policies (Global and Local)

2. Primary contact point to the relevant regulators in relation to KYC/AML matters

3. Liaison with Regional and Global FCU functions

4. Manage client and transaction screening in accordance with relevant KYC/AML related laws, regulations and internal rules.

5. Ensure that all SG entities in Japan to maintain appropriate internal controls (process, procedures, policies etc) and update them in accordance with the regulatory changes

6. Provide professional advice to Business, Operations and other stakeholders

7. Keep senior management informed of financial crime related matters and risks

8. Be responsible to monitor any regulatory changes

9. Support other functions in Compliance Department

Profile required

Key Skill Areas & knowledge Required:
