Responsibilities

Position Objectives

Be a main interlocutor towards the national regulators other than Compliance Officer, national tax authority, external auditors, tax consultants and the Group.
In charge of financial reports under K-IFRS / IFRS to the local regulatory authorities, local management and head office
Be responsible for defining the SG Seoul DFIN target operating model and for designing the roadmap to reach this target

Pricipal Responsibility

Daily / Monthly /Quarterly Obligation

Manage accounting activities and regulatory reporting
Monitor company’s regulatory ratios
Review and sign-off monthly closing result
Review and release regulatory reporting and group reporting, management accounting
Accounting permanent supervision and controls processes
Control cost management, budgeting and forecasting.
Control billing and settlement process for inter-company transfer pricing
Provide financial information & performance results to the senior management and relevant business sections

Yearly and Occasional obligation

Fiscal year-end closing and corporate income tax return
Analysis of capital requirements
Asset/Liabilities management - work with Region/Global on capital injection or dividend repatriation
Review of new product and participate NPC (New Product Committee)
Set-up of accounting platform and processes
Coordinate annual audit by external accounting firm and regular audit by FSS / NTS
Perform necessary replies and actions for ad-hoc requests from head office and local regulatory

Profile required

This position will be required to have the proper level of expertise and experience in the finance area and banking industry and be expected to cover part of the tasks listed below. Depending on the level of experience and knowledge of the candidate, the task coverage is subject to change.

Requirements

Accounting knowledge with the certificate or job experience in finance division > 15 years
Sound functional knowledge of the products and process within a Finance division
Good understanding of banking regulation & regulatory reports
Strong analytical mindset.
Highly motivated and team oriented
Attentive to details and capable to maintain global view of the situation
Adaptive and fast to absorb domain knowledge
Ability to cover multi dimensional functional responsibilities
Courage to propose fresh ideas. Pragmatic, solution driven approach.
Good command of spoken and written English
Strong PC skills, in particular Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word
