V.I.E. Auditor
Responsibilities
Audit main task is to assess the compliance of transactions, actual risk exposure, respect of procedures as well as the relevancy and efficiency of permanent control.
This is managed thanks to an objective, rigorous and unbiased risk-based approach.
Auditors participate or lead audit assignments covering risks areas as per the multi-year audit plan.
They apply IGAD processes and methodologies, and use the tools supporting the audit cycle (Risk Assessment, Time tracking, Work Papers, Recommendation follow-up).
The Japan team is multicultural, composed of 3 senior auditors, 1 junior auditor (this position) and 1 manager.
The coverage includes 4 legal entities in Japan (Securities, Branch, Asset Management, Aircraft Leasing) and can be extended to other countries in the Asia Pacific region depending on the audit mission.
The junior auditor supports and contributes to the overall cycle of audit missions (scoping, diagnostic, testing, report writing, conclusions). He/she is encouraged to propose innovative approaches, notably through data analytics.

Responsibilities:
- Execute audits works in accordance with professional standards
- Assist audit management in preparation & execution of the audit plan
- Acquire knowledge on activities and risks during assignments and via trainings
- Perform evaluation of internal controls, testing of processes
- Maintain clear work papers and audit trail of the work done in the appropriate tool
- Make appropriate recommendations to improve SG processes

Profile required
PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
- Graduate with a Master’s degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Audit
- A previous experience in internal or external Audit would be appreciated
Language skills:
- Fluent in English (B2-C1)
- Japanese - advantage
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
- Proficiency in creating concise and clear documentation
- IT development skills, such as proficiency in Python scripting, along with experience in data analytics and a keen interest in emerging technologies
- A collaborative spirit with a strong openness to teamwork
- Curiosity paired with analytical skills
- A strong sense of accountability, ensuring high-quality deliverables meet deadlines
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Japan is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24 months.
In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.
