V.I.E. Front-Office IT Support Analyst
Responsibilities
GBSU/FRM is in charge of providing the most reliable, flexible and efficient Risk & Finance platform and delivering the shared market data repository for our partners in MARK, RISQ & DFIN to:
• Meet the strategic business needs of GBIS
• Meet our regulatory commitments and secure the provision of reports to regulators
• Optimize capital requirements
• Distribute certified data
• Manage and ensure the consistency of the PnL, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Liquidity, and Accounting and Finance for GBIS
• Contribute to the digital transformation of GBIS.
GBSU/FRM/CFI manages the Fixed Income calculator (RiskOne) for the risk analysis and valuation engine for real-time and end of day risk and pnl. its primary clients are MARK/FIC and RISQ.
• Help ensure the real-time indicators (PnL, Risks) produced by the risk engine give the traders an accurate vision of their market position
• Research production issues as they arise, including delays in data availabilty and review of batch configuratoins, and assisting team members in the analysis of the Greeks; PnL; and explanation of the sensitivies
• Assisting team members with inquires from Traders regarding the the analysis of the Greeks; PnL; and explanation of the sensitivites generated by the risk engine
• Work closely with the front-office, RISQ, and other team members to resolve issues
• Actively monitor team chats and chats with users to recognize, acknolwedge, and assist with resolution of issues
• Communicate with GBSU and MARK collegues to continously enrich your techncial and functional knowledge
• Perform ad-hoc investigations and queries from the database to support daily operations
• Contribute to non-regression testing campaigns for production releases
Profile required
PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

• Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in IT or Finance
• A previous experience working with fixed income products would be appreciated
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Proficient/Good command of MS Office
• Fluent in English
• Thrive in a dynamic, high-pressue and time-sensitive environment
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• Team-oriented, client-focused
• Curious, with an ability to quickly learn new systems, products, and businesses
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in New-York, NY is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.
In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
We would like to draw your attention to the fact there that your VIE mission could potentially get postponed, depending on the evolution of the health crisis and subjects to the decision made by the Crisis and Support Centre of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE). In addition, the selected candidate will only be paid upon confirmation from Business France and arrival in the country of assignment.
