VIE: Information System Auditor
Responsibilities
As part of the audit mission team (from the initial diagnosis to the writing of reports and oral restitution) your main goals will be to :
- Understand and analyze an IS department, an application, a project in term of risks;
- Gather required and relevant data for the mission and data analysis in compliance with confidentiality and ethic rules;
- Perform controls and assess the risks, applying the internal audit standards (adopted by IIA) during the audit missions along with the audit methodology of Societe Generale Group;
- Define areas of improvement and formulate recommendations;
- Manage the relationship with the audited entities with diplomacy while remaining independent;
- Follow up the implementation of audit recommendations;
Profile required
• You are graduated with a Master degree from Engineering or Business School or University with a specializationin in Information System studies
• First internship in a major bank or in IS audit (external/internal), or in an Information system department (development, projects,...) with ideally an international aspect
• Be able to understand the Information system processes, to work in the IT field
• Knowledge of MS Office suite is mandatory
• Knowledge of software used for data analytics like Tableau, Power BI, Python is a plus
• Fluent English is mandatory

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Hong Kong is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

Department Description
The principal mission of Audit is to evaluate the conformity of the operations, the level of risk incurred and the respect of the procedures.
As a VIE, you will be involved in different audit assignments within Asia region.
Within the Audit Division for Asia region, attached to the Audit Division for Société Générale Group, our team of 5 people is in charge of the internal audit of the information systems and technologies.
Information technologies are critical resources for our activity. Under the responsibility of the head of mission, your main task will be to identify IT related risks (alignment between IT and the Business strategies, application development lifecycle, IS project management, IS architecture and urbanization, security, backup and IT continuity, etc) and to provide recommendations in order to mitigate them to an acceptable level.
