Responsibilities

During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities:

• Support the team with the preparation of Equity Advisory and cross-product client pitches / presentations
• Provide support in developing Investor Relations strategies, communication advice and equity market analysis
• Support the team with industry and company research and analysis
• Assist in advising corporate clients on ESG topics and strategy
• Keep up to date about capital market developments and equity and debt related issues.

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Your career path

As VIE in the local Equity Advisory team in Frankfurt you will work in a challenging and demanding working environment in the field of Corporate Finance by supporting senior team members in the origination and execution of ECM transactions. You will have the possibility to work with experienced colleagues on interesting and diverse projects. By taking over the position as VIE in our Equity Advisory team you will get deep insight in the field of Corporate Finance, in particular ECM business, of a leading European bank. You will have the chance to improve your financial and valuation skills, develop your knowledge about equity capital markets and investor communication, as well as your research skills and thus, to benefit from a steep learning curve.

Profile Required
• Graduated from University or Business School with a Master degree, ideally with a major in Management or Corporate Finance
• A previous experience in Equity Capital Market or Investment Banking would be appreciated
• Good command of MS Office package
• Fluent in English and German skills would be a plus

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Frankfurt is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months with the possibility to prolong to 24 months.
In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.

We would like to draw your attention to the fact  that your VIE mission could potentially get postponed, depending on the evolution of the health crisis and subjects to the decision made by the Crisis and Support Centre of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE). In addition, the selected candidate will only be paid upon confirmation from Business France and arrival in the country of assignment.
