Responsabilities:
- Undertaking focused electronic communication monitoring on other key focus areas (Benchmark Fixings, Market Abuse, Market Misconduct, Chinese Wall, Financial Crime, General Misconduct) as required.
- Undertaking communications surveillance using various communications surveillance tools as instructed by the supervisors of Communications Surveillance, as appropriate to support the alert analysis process and additional thematic reviews.
- Assessing any conflicts of interest arising from private side activities are managed timely in accordance with the relevant policy and are reported, as appropriate, to relevant compliance advisor and/or business manager.
- Maintaining the watch, restricted and insider list, associated wall crossing processes and proper transactional/role disclosures.
- Handling the processes for personal account dealings and relevant approval requests.
- Handling and recording of breaches arising related to Control Room processes and the relevant escalation, as appropriate.
- Improving surveillance tools and applications of Control Room by coordinating with IT and business analysts.
- Proactively and timely reporting any concerns to Capital Market Surveillance and Conrtol Room management as required, ensuring regular and frequent communication on such issues.
- Supporting the running of Capital Market Surveillance governance by compiling various indicators and management information for different stakeholders namely global trade surveillance, local compliance and senior management.
- Participation in ad-hoc requests and projects within the Capital Market Surveillance and Control Room team (improving current procedures and controls) as assigned.
- Participation in the handling of regulator enquiries and internal investgations as required.
- Participation in departmental and team meetings as required.
- The candidate may also be required to work on the trade surveillance (analysing irregular trading pattern by using various trade surveillance tools, assisting in the market abuse risk analysis) as required.

This VIE in Hong Kong is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24 months.
In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
We would like to draw your attention to the fact there that your VIE mission could potentially get postponed, depending on the evolution of the health crisis and subjects to the decision made by the Crisis and Support Centre of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE). In addition, the selected candidate will only be paid upon confirmation from Business France and arrival in the country of assignment.
