V.I.E. Financial Crime Compliance Specialist
Responsibilities
Within Ayvens Group Compliance, the Financial Crime Compliance team (FCC Pillar, led by the Head of Financial Crime) is in charge of ensuring the application of the normative documentation, processing the deal-flow, and carrying out the oversight on financial crime risks, including the declaration of suspicious activities to the relevant authorities where applicable.
Under the supervision of the Head of FCC Compliance, the FCC Pillar is composed of the following key risks and activity domains:
- Clients and transactions : management of dealflow advisory and approval
- Sanctions and Embargos : contributing to manage and monitor of the S&E framework in terms of governance, procedures and controls, monitoring and reporting – under the supervision and in full alignment with SG central Sanctions and Embargos team
- KYC/AML and FCC projects: manage and monitor the AML/TF framework in terms of governance, procedures and controls, the application of vigilance obligations, monitoring and reporting, in alignment with SG central FCC
Within FCC team you will share your time between Clients & Transactions, AML/KYC and Sanctions & Embargoes. You will manage several type of projects, contribute to help each FCC team built a strong framework. With the support of the FCC team members, you will be a key player in order to:
- Build dedicated trainings to reinforce LCO's knowledge on compliance issues
- Build and preparation of steering indicators for various committees;
- Propose improvement areas
- Study/build possible digital solutions to create reporting frameworks for the team and documentation and work materials
- Coordinate the yearly risk assessment exercice for the Group and follow-up the needs for action (deadlines, deliverables).
- Support of the FCC managers in delivering and setting up of the compliance framework via ad hoc actions

Profile required
PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply for a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
- Master’s degree from Business School or University, with a specialization in Compliance, International law, Audit and controls
- A previous experience in audit/control/compliance would be appreciated; sensitivity to non-compliance risk
Language skills:
- English mandatory,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English;
Technical, operational & soft skills:
- Proficient/Good command of MS Office
- Rigor, organization, and initiative are your main assets;
- Strong Analytical skills and risk appetite;
- Honesty, autonomy in the execution of assigned tasks;
- Service oriented
- Excellent interpersonal & animation skills
- Ability to prioritize, anticipate and organize
- Sense of initiative
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Amsterdam is to begin November 1st, 2025, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
