Profile

Our Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team specialises in helping firms to raise capital to grow their businesses through IPOs, rights issues, accelerated bookbuildings, as well as equity-linked transactions (convertible/exchangeable bond issues)

Roles in this space involve:
ECM market coverage with specific focus on UK, Northern Europe, CEEMEA and Russia. The candidate will be supporting a team on a day-to-day with ECM tasks
The daily responsibilities would include preparing equity market updates for various clients, help with pitch book preparation, research on clients and various client situations, preparation of various materials for live transactions
What should you have as a candidate for this type of role?
Prior work experience is mandatory, and previous experience in the financial sector is desirable
Relevant degree in Finance or Finance related disciplines is desirable, but not mandatory
Prior knowledge of databases such as Bloomberg, Datastream is desirable
Advanced Excel, Power Point
Fluent spoken and written proficiency in English
Further Northern Europe / CEE language skills are a plus
Good understanding of the finance industry and ECM in particular is necessary, as well as ability to display passion and motivation to work in the sector
