Mission

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:

 

Performing the reconciliations of General ledger and Sub-Ledger for identifying breaks and investigates the same in order to provide solution to respective break owners.

 

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES/PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

 

·         Reconcile General ledger data with Sub-ledger in order to identify breaks

·         Investigate and identify the causes of incorrect data files and take corrective action to get it fixed.

·         Compilations of match and un-match details for management reporting

·         Manage the Smartstream for getting things done within SLA

·         Enhancement of rules and logics within a system in order to automate the process and to reduce the pending breaks.

·         Coordinated closely with US, EMEA and APAC based team members

·         Escalates breaks in a timely manner

·         Work with team/systems to optimize data accuracy, integrity and performance.

·         Work with other departments including APS, Finance, Accounting and Brokerage in issue resolution and reporting

·         Publishing Monthly reports to Senior Management.

Profile

KEY SKILL AREAS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

 

·         Knowledge of futures brokerage industry, securities industry, accounting principles.

·         2+ years of experience in the futures market and Accounting

·         2+ year’s reconciliation experience.

·         Knowledge of both Futures & Options and Non-listed Clearing and Execution processes and fee methodologies

·         Knowledge of P & L accounts and balance sheet.

·         Knowledge of GMI, TLM, UBIX and other industry related systems.

·         Excellent computer skills working in PC environment with Microsoft Office suite.

·         Ability to create or maintain SQL queries is helpful
