Vos missions au quotidien

Certification Engineering Chapter in FRM/RPC primarily drives the core Risk & Finance platform strategy by Industrializing and simplifying information systems with improved Certification capabilities and User Experience(UX) for Pnl and Market Risk platforms that forms the base for key functions like metrics monitoring, certification, Pnl & Market risk regulatory requirements. All the applications are built by digitally transforming certain legacy key applications as well as by developing new components, aligning with the transformation objectives of GBSU and SG group by following SGMarkets standards. Core platform’s uses APIs, Microservice’s, UI/UX, PAAS, Azure, Cubes and data lake using big data ecosystem with HDFS, HBase, Hive, Spark, Kafka  


Certification chapter also manages key applications related to certification (MyMetrics Userpath) and Machine learning (Prada) that play a key role in the Market Risk & PnL chain which are built by reimagining and transformed to simplify/accelerate business partners processes with the core platform strategy. Fast IT applications (TagBox, DART, MAXX and SEA) are also in scope of Certification chapter


Job Description 
•    Define and execute chapter’s vision and strategy, maintain a chapter backlog, ensure other chapter managers in RPC and key stakeholders outside RPC have a clear understanding of the RPC Certification Chapter strategy   
•    Own and manage PRADA, an ML based application used in the certification process 
•    Maintain regular communication with RPC Global certification and Fast IT Chapter managers so as to understand and participate in the evolution of core platform and be a bridge between Global certification and Fast IT Chapter Managers and the RPC Bangalore in matters related to MyMetrics-Userpath, PRADA and Fast IT applications  
•    Ensure the chapter members in the feature teams (FT) contribute to the feature team deliveries consistent with the Certification chapter objectives and Digital transformation (DT) team guidelines 
•    Interact with other chapter managers in RPC, key chapter managers in other tribes and business partners (RISQ/RMA/MMG and other groups) to manage their expectations and fulfil the objectives of certification Chapter 
•    Develop and maintain adequate resources (both in terms of number of resources and skill/experience of resources) in the Certification Chapter to contribute to the overall Risk & Finance platform roadmap and objectives. Manage the hiring plans for the certification chapter accordingly 
•    Drive the Chapter members to deliver the best and ensure the team members aspirations, training/self-development needs are taken care. Resolve personal conflicts and act as a mentor to the team members. 
•    Contribute to the identified RPC and FRM transversal activities and volunteer / drive the key events like hackathons, tech day etc

  • Total experience of 10-15 years in the technology industry in banking domain (preferably in the Pnl & Risk Management sub-domain) 

•    People management experience – experience in managing a team of 10-15 senior technical leads/architects, software engineers and business analysts
•    Hands-on experience in Core Java, J2EE, Spring-boot, UI/UX technologies (Angular/React), REST APIs & Microservices. Familiarity with big-data technologies and Azure public cloud 
•    Experience in CD/CI tools – Jenkins, Sonar, XLDeploy, Nexus
•    Experience in working in an Agile environment and managing deliveries using PIs and Sprints 
•    Experience in working in an on-site/off-shore model and managing business partners
