Your mission

The KYC Officer is in charge of analyses and controls relating to the identity and reputation of private banking clients. These checks take place on the occasion of client onboarding as well as during the customer relationship (KYC periodic review). He/she will carry out these checks in accordance with the standards and procedures in force.

He/she will cover private banking clients including trusts from 3 entities : Luxembourg, Monaco and United-Kingdom.

The job is based in Luxembourg in the Middle Office Private Banking team.

Your responsibilities

Control checks of client onboarding and periodic reviews process, on the basis of a sample of accounts opened or reviews done during the preceeding month:

  • Check client documentation collected vs data input into the Core Banking System (CBS) ;
  • Assess the global consistency of client files ;
  • Report to Front office, any detected anomalies ;
  • Follow the correction of anomalies and the monitoring of the related action plan ;
  • Produce and consolidate KPI’s ;
  • Write and update internal procedures applicable to the team.

The KYC officer will be in regular contact with main stakeholders: customer relationship managers, desk managers, middle office team based in Bucharest, compliance team, tax team.

The KYC officer must keep up-to-date his/her knowledge of Regulatory developments in each country, as well as internal procedures.

You have a higher education and a professional experience of at least 2 years in the field of KYC/AML,  ideally in a private bank ;

Compulsory fluency in French and English ;

Very good analytical and summarizing skills ;

Ability to take initiative to improve existing processes in order to optimize them ;

Rigor and reliability ;

Discretion, confidentiality ;

Good team spirit;

Position non submitted to MIF II.
