It keeps a record of the websites visited and contains a certain amount of information relative to these visits). Cookies are used above all to make the website work (technical session cookies).

In accordance with the law, the Internet user has a right of access to information concerning him as well as a right to correct any personal data pertaining to him in accordance with the law of 2 August 2002 on the protection of persons as regards the processing of personal data (as modified). Protection of personal data in the context of on-line Recruitment.

In addition to the general rules relative to the protection of data stated above, access to and the operation of the part of the website dedicated to on-line recruitment implies the computerised processing of certain personal data of the Internet user who applies for a job on line (“the Candidate”). If the Candidate wishes for his/her profile to be taken into consideration by SGBT, it is absolutely essential that he/she indicates his/her agreement as regards the communication and processing of certain of his/her personal information, since this information is necessary for the proper operation of the recruiting process. The data which must absolutely be transmitted is clearly highlighted in the application form.

The personal data which the Candidate transmits to SGBT via the website will be processed solely in the context of the Société Générale Bank & Trust recruitment process. It will not be used for any other purpose and will not be preserved in SGBT systems beyond the period necessary for carrying out this objective. In any event, the personal data will not be preserved by the Société Générale Bank & Trust in Luxembourg for more than 2 years.

SGBT informs the Candidates that their data transits via the website of a third-party company which has a contractual relation with Société Générale and that this data is hosted in French territory. Nonetheless, processing of this data is carried out only in Luxembourg territory by SGBT.

In accordance with the law, the Candidate is entitled to access data concerning him/her at no charge, to modify it or oppose its processing. In order to exercise these rights, the Candidate can contact the human resource department of the Société Générale Bank & Trust by mail at the following address: Société Générale Bank & Trust, Human Resources, 11 avenue Emile Reuter, L-2420 Luxembourg.

The Candidate has read and accepts the terms regarding personal data protection and gives his/her permission for Société Générale to process his/her personal data entered on this form.
