Fullstack Java Developer
Responsibilities
In the scope of The Financing and Transactional Banking division (GBTO/FTB) which is one of the Global Banking and Investor Solutions' support functions. GBTO/FTB/DTO is the IT department responsible to support, maintain & develop the Information System for Digital and Transversal Offers.
The Information System is primarily composed of In-house modules developed with Java and deployed in SG Cloud platform with ambition to migrate to Azure in the coming years.
The mission will be dedicated to integrating a dedicated Feature Team, to ensure a Senior Software Engineer role on VAN (virtual account) / VOP (Verfication of Payee) & SBA (Search by Account) application in an Agile environment.
This is a fixed-term position for 12 months.
Your future scope of responsibility will cover:
Understanding business requirements and defining technical solution to implement them
Designing innovative solutions and ensuring that solutions are compliant with architects’ recommendations and production requirements (SLA)
Developing code by applying Software Craftsmanship best practices and quality standards; regular delivery of product increments
Ensuring production quality with high level of testing: TDD, BDD, and automation practices
Formalizing and performing unit and end-to-end tests all along the development and before the Go-lives
Acting as a technical referent on the modules owned by the Feature Team, building and maintaining technical documentation
Ensuring Level 2 production support: “You build it, you run it”
Taking active participation in continuous improvement activities
Profile required
You will be best suited for this role if:
You have worked as a (mid) software developer or software engineer for a few years, specializing in Java language
You know our technical stack: Java (Spring, Springboot, Springbatch, Hibernate, JPA), REST API, Angular, SQL, Kubernetes, Cucumber
You use CI/CD tools, such as: Github, Docker, Jenkins, Sonar, Kibana
You foster continuous improvement mindset
You know and apply Software Craftsmanship, such as Clean Code, pair programming, TDD, BDD, and other good practices
You are familiar with Agile
You speak fluent English
You communicate with ease and enjoy working in a team
