The choice is there. And it isn’t an easy one. For students or recent graduates, the call to travel is urgent, but so is the desire to start their career once and for all. But what if you could do both?

The International Corporate Volunteer program, or V.I.E (Volontariat International en Entreprise), is your chance to embark upon an adventure, both personal and professional in equal measure, and discover a profession in a new country.

The Societe Generale Group is one of the French companies offering the most V.I.Es. Like Flora, Caroline, and many more, join our teams in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong… There’s a destination for every ambition!


The best path towards a permanent contract

A V.I.E mission offers you 12 to 24 highly formative months on an international team – an extremely high-value experience that can lead to a permanent contract either on-site or elsewhere!

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Must not having already completed a VIE;
  • Be a citizen of one of the member states of the European Economic Area;
  • Be a French tax resident;
  • Be between 18 and 28 years old;
  • Hold a Master’s degree (Master 2);
  • Speak English fluently (minimum B2 level);
  • Must not hold a permanent contract (CDI) with Societe Generale.

Recruitment process

Apply for a V.I.E offer

After checking that you are fully eligible for V.I.E, send your application for an offer on our site.

Online tests

If your application is been accepted by the recruitment teams, you will be asked to complete some online tests (English test, logic test and so on).

Manager interview

Once you have passed your tests, you have an interview with the manager, often on Skype. It is a fit? Then you will be made an offer.

04
Administrative formalities

The recruitment teams support you in your administrative formalities with Business France, the French agency for business development abroad that manages V.I.Es.

05
Depart on assignment

With your visa in your pocket (if required) and your contract signed, off you go on your assignment abroad, for integration into the Societe Generale teams!
