Front Office Software Engineer – Contract Algorithmic Trading Developer

• Develop and maintain main trading application in C# and related components used on algorithmic trading activity within cost, time and risk constraints.
• Design high-quality, robust, and performant software.
• Investigate, follow-up production issues and improve system reliability.
• Proactively enhance monitoring capabilities to reduce investigation and resolution time.
• Work closely with developers, traders, and support teams across locations.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, releases, and production support.

Curious, autonomous and passionate, you understand the problems presented and use empirical thinking to identify root causes. You make use of your knowledge and experience to deliver ingenious, simple and efficient solutions.

Minimum qualifications

• Solid experience with C# (or C++)
• Quality oriented with emphasis on software design and architecture
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (computer science, mathematics, engineering) 
• Ability to work in an integrated team

Required experience

• Strong professional experience with object-oriented programming (C#, Java or C++), software design principles, and common design patterns.
• Quality-oriented approach to development and testing.
• Ability to work autonomously and within an integrated team.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Preferred experience

• Multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization.
• Development of low-latency trading systems.
• Network protocols and socket programming.
• Development of trading algorithms or execution strategies.
• Knowledge of equities and derivatives.
• Knowledge of Asian electronic markets and market connectivity.
• Support of client-facing or business-critical applications.
• Development experience on Windows.

Department Description

The "Front Office development" team aims to design, implement, maintain, and support electronic trading software solutions for the securities and financing trading desk.

By joining our team, you will work in a multi-cultural environment, encouraging exploration of new technologies and ideas, with a flat management structure, a high exposition and direct impact on trading activity.

You will sit on the trading floor and work closely with the front office users.
