EMEA MIDDLE OFFICE ANALYST – FRENCH SPEAKING
Responsibilities
As an EMEA Middle Office Analyst within Bernstein SG’s Operations team, you will support the timely and accurate processing and control of cash equity transactions across the EMEA High Touch and Electronic businesses. Reporting to the Middle Office Manager, VP – Europe, you will perform trade allocation, confirmation, referential-data processing and reconciliation activities, while providing a high standard of service to trading desks and internal and external clients. Working within a Follow the Sun model, you will communicate directly in French with French-speaking clients and collaborate with regional Operations, Trading, Client Service, Finance, Technology and outsourced service providers.
Your main responsibilities will include:
· Process and monitor trades and allocations through approved systems, ensuring client-side transactions are confirmed accurately and within required deadlines.
· Communicate confidently in French, verbally and in writing, with French-speaking clients regarding allocations, confirmations, operational queries and issue resolution.
· Provide timely support to internal and external clients and trading desks, monitoring priority queries, group mailboxes, trade status and operational exceptions.
· Process approved referential-data and sub-account requests accurately, maintaining appropriate supporting evidence and audit records.
· Complete daily exception monitoring, report validations, control checks and front-to-back reconciliations to identify potential operational or settlement risks.
· Investigate straightforward breaks using available information and escalate material, complex or unresolved issues appropriately.
· Support the EMEA High Touch and Electronic equity businesses and provide clear regional handovers within the Follow the Sun operating model.
· Work collaboratively with Settlement, Trading, Client Service, Finance, Technology and outsourced service providers to ensure effective coordination and issue resolution.
· Maintain accurate procedures and desk documentation, contribute to data integrity, and participate in cross-training and knowledge sharing.
· Take accountability for assigned outputs, keep management informed of progress and risks, and remain open to process, technology and operational improvements.
· Comply with all applicable risk, regulatory and internal policy obligations, including the Société Générale Group Code of Conduct and relevant conduct standards.
· Undertake additional duties as required.
Profile required
· Professional working proficiency in French is essential, with the ability to communicate clearly with French-speaking clients by telephone, email and other approved channels; good written and verbal English is also required.
· Working knowledge of the cash equity trade lifecycle and Middle Office activities, including trade allocation, confirmation, referential data and reconciliation controls.
· A client-focused approach, with strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work within deadlines.
· Strong attention to detail and a clear commitment to data integrity, operational controls and risk awareness.
· Ability to investigate routine exceptions, ask relevant questions, explain straightforward issues and recognise when escalation is required.
· Good organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to take ownership of assigned deliverables and keep management informed.

The successful candidate will be employed by SG GSC Morocco and fully dedicated to supporting Bernstein SG. The employee’s day-to-day activities, deliverables and stakeholder interactions will contribute directly to Bernstein SG’s EMEA Middle Office activities and the support of its High Touch and Electronic equity businesses.
The EMEA Middle Office Analyst will work under the formal supervision of the Middle Office Manager, VP – Europe, within documented procedures, control standards and delegated authority. The role offers exposure to international teams, trading desks, French-speaking clients and the front-to-back cash equity trade lifecycle within a Follow the Sun operating model.
