Responsibilities
Haussmann 1864 Capital Management (“Haussmann 1864”) is an Investment Advisor registered with the SEC. It is part of an SG Group strategic initiative to develop Private Credit investment advisory and asset management services.
Haussmann 1864 is composed of a small team based in the US working in an agile, hands-on and dynamic environment.
The role of the Intern is to support all aspects of the Investment Advisor business. The candidate will work with all members of a small team, each having a different role in the business unit: Chief Executive Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Credit Analysts. Given the ownership of Haussmann 1864 by the Société Générale Group (“SG”), the Intern will also interact frequently with personnel of SG. The candidate will therefore be exposed to all facets of the business.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Assisting as required with due diligence and research on potential candidates for client mandates.
· Drafting reports and memos as needed on a wide range of topics relating to our business and services.
· Wearing multiple analyst hats including assisting our credit analysts with credit analytics and our COO with loan operations items.
· Coordinating tasks with other SG teams, following up on progress and keeping the team updated on progress and potential issues.
· Updating records, performing investment simulations and presenting summaries of the results to the team.
· Proposing ideas on possible process improvements such as automation.

Must Have:
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
· Interpersonal and communication skills (including clear, concise, analytical writing) must be a team player.
· Problem solving and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and multitask.
· Ability to work in a dynamic, deadline-focused environment.
· Ability to work independently as a member of a small team, which includes the ability to be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment.
· Attention to detail.
· Strong work ethic and professionalism, including ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

COMPENSATION:
Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience. This is not a benefits eligible position.
