Bernstein Research Associate - US SMID-Cap Software and US Emerging Technology

We are looking for a Research Associate to join Bernstein’s premier Equity Research team covering US SMID-Cap Software and US Emerging Technology team in New York (e.g. Cloudflare, Datadog, Fortinet, Atlassian, Twillio, GitLab, Crowdstrike).  If you have a passion for research and are interested in building a long-term career in the investing world, there’s no better place to start than Bernstein.  We seek candidates who love to solve problems, analyze data, and are passionate about in-depth fundamental analysis. As a Research Associate, you will:

·       Develop sector expertise working with a Senior Analyst who is a seasoned industry expert

·       Become highly proficient at in-depth analysis of your companies, stocks and industry themes

·       Author written research that is famous for its deep industry insights and analytical rigor

·       Become adept at financial forecasting, including building detailed forward-looking models

·       Build strong relationships across the investing community, including our sales and trading teams and institutional clients

·       Build a network within your industry including senior management of your companies

Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience.

Basic Qualifications

·       Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in analysis, investment analysis, corporate strategy, consulting, finance, or a related field, including financial modeling experience.

·       Bachelor’s degree

·       Demonstrated experience accessing emerging technological advancements and their potential to disrupt traditional software markets

·       Experience analyzing public companies
