Consultant - Business Services Sourcing
Responsibilities
Objective: Societe Generale Global Solution Centre is looking for candidate for the role of Sourcing Manager, Candidate should have minimum of 10+ years of experience in the area of Sourcing, Procurement & Vendor Governance.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing and executing category sourcing strategies for indirect Non IT commodity (Business Services) . Ensure contracting and procurement standards are maintained throughout the portfolio. Responsible to manage the commodities and specialized in Facility Management, HR (HR Recruiting, HR Operations, L&D ), Events, Communication, marketing.
Will lead the commodity strategy for identified project management categories by:
Developing category strategy:
•Gather spend data and business requirements plans
•Analyze spend profiles and assess opportunities
•Gather and analyze market intelligence; Assess Category Risk
•Identify and map stakeholders and define category performance metrics; Develop and socialize Category Strategy, obtain stakeholder acceptance
Provides business clients with timely access to leading edge technologies, products and services to generate value and competitive advantage (i.e. cost efficiency, productivity, responsiveness and flexibility).
Setting sourcing strategy:
•Validate scope of work with stakeholders;
•Determine sourcing options, multi-account RFQ, RFP and RFI exercise. Analyzes commodity and service requirements, creates RFPs and reviews and analyze bids.
•Validate category sourcing plans and priorities;
Define sourcing strategy and confirm with stakeholders
Sourcing execution:
•Develop & execute sourcing plan
•Evaluate Responses or Progress; Validate results with stakeholders
•Prepare Award Recommendation
•Negotiate contract Terms/Pricing
•Extract and report value
Source to Contract:
•Initiate / Administer Contracting Activity
•Conduct Change Management Activities, Kick-off meeting, etc.
•Initiate Supplier Management program for identified categories
•On-board suppliers and set expectations, Work with legal on contract alignment
•Manage adherence to contract
•Service as escalation point, and manage resolution process
•Gather performance feedback, analyze data
•Lead Management Reviews, monitor KPIs and assist on supplier risk
•Document and share lessons learned
Setting sourcing strategy:
- Review and Validate scope of work with stakeholders; Discuss and align on the Sourcing strategy and approach with stakeholders.
- Determine sourcing options, RFP, RFQ and RFI exercise.
- Analyzes commodity and service requirements, creates RFPs/RFQ’s and reviews and analyze bids
- Follow Vendor due diligence as per defined policy
- Validate category sourcing plans and priorities;
- Define sourcing strategy and confirm with stakeholder
- Sourcing execution:
- Develop & execute sourcing plan – RFP/RFQ/RFI’s and Contracting
- Evaluate Responses or Progress; Validate results with stakeholders
- Vendor Due diligence and Internal approvals process
- Prepare Award Recommendation
- Negotiate contract Terms/Pricing
