Credit Risk Junior Officer
Responsibilities
As a Junior Credit Risk Control Analyst, you will play an important role in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of credit risk controls within the Transaction Banking business. You will analyze client and transaction data, perform monitoring and control activities, investigate potential issues, and support the continuous improvement of the organization's risk management framework. This role provides valuable exposure to risk management processes within an international banking environment.
Your future scope of responsibility will cover:
Performing controls and analyses of risk-related activities in accordance with established procedures
Monitoring risk indicators and investigating exceptions, anomalies, or breaches
Reviewing client information and supporting documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency
Supporting the monitoring of credit facilities, limits, and other risk-related parameters
Preparing reports and management information for relevant stakeholders
Escalating identified issues in a timely manner and following up on remediation actions
Maintaining accurate records and evidence of performed controls
Contributing to process improvement initiatives and the maintenance of procedural documentation
Profile required
You will be best suited for this role if:
You hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Banking, or a related field
Experience in banking, financial services, risk management, operations, or audit would be an advantage
You demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills
You are highly detail-oriented, accurate, and committed to delivering high-quality work
You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable working with data and reports
You are fluent in English and Polish; additional language skills, particularly German, French, Spanish, or Italian, would be an advantage
You are able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a structured, deadline-driven environment
