eFX Trader
Responsibilities
- Trade and manage risk across FX Spot, NDFs, Futures, Forwards, and Swaps, with strong awareness of market conditions and liquidity dynamics.
- Act as a book-runner, actively managing inventory risk, reacting quickly to market movements, and executing efficiently across FX markets.
- Maintain and grow relationships with clients, liquidity providers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring continuous connectivity and commercial engagement.
- Conduct deep, data-driven analysis of the eFX franchise, including:
- PnL decomposition
- Historical and real-time volumes
- Market impact and flow behavior
- Market microstructure and data analysis
- Drive proactive monetization of the franchise under volume, risk, and client constraints, ensuring sustainable and disciplined client follow-up.
- Collaborate closely with the Quant team on model enhancements, pricing improvements, and trading strategy research.
- Contribute Python-based tools to support post-trade analytics, research, and workflow automation.
- Apply technical IT skills to support configuration updates, infrastructure workflows, and issue resolution in electronic trading environments.
- Act as a team player, sharing findings, collaborating globally, and contributing to the collective performance of the desk.

Required Professional Experience
- Minimum 3 years of combined experience in both Quantitative trading, including FX Spot, Forwards, Options, and NDFs in a global FX/eFX trading-floor environment.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Finance, Financial Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Specific Experience Requirements
Trading Analytics & Market Understanding
Experience analyzing trading performance, identifying positive/negative trends, and implementing improvements across quantitative environments.
Ability to operate in coordination with global trading teams.
Market Making
Experience in pricing and hedging G10 and EM risk – Spot, Swaps, NDFs.
Daily position management, PnL monitoring, and pricing analysis.
Understanding of market microstructure, internalization logic, and risk offsets.
Liquidity & Execution Management
Hands-on experience with flow/venue routing, order execution logic, and strategy parameters.
Familiarity with liquidity usage, sweep logic, last look, and LP configuration.
Algo Execution & Market Structure
Experience operating and marketing FX Algo execution solutions.
Ability to advise clients on optimizing execution efficiency.
Familiarity with major FX trading venues and technologies, such as FXall, 360T, EBS, Reuters, Bloomberg, Currenex, Traiana/Harmony, BestX, TraderTools, FX Spot Stream, Broadway Technology, IX Protocol, etc.
Experience with FX OTC market structure, connectivity, and workflow design.
Experience collaborating with IT, development, and compliance teams to streamline electronic trade processing.
Any experience with Asian NDF markets to complement U.S. trading coverage.
Established network or relationship-building experience within the global FX market.

COMPENSATION:
Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and includes a competitive benefits package including 401(k) plan with company match, medical/dental/vision, and other benefits for fertility, wellness, student loans and commuters.
