GTPS Europe – Trade Finance Junior Sales (m/f/d)

Within the GTB framework, the TRA Junior Sales contributes to the delivery of the global financial trajectory by:

• Supporting GTB Sales and TRA Senior Sales in originating and implementing TRA Products

• Supports new client development (MNC, Light Touch)

• Being the main client entry point for all TRA related topics,

• Contributes to achievement of the client commercial objectives

• Takes responsibility for outbound client penetration in his/her area of expertise in close alignment with the GTB Sales and the TRA Senior Sales

The TRA Junior Sales has a good knowledge of TRA Products. He/she has the capacity to understand product-specific clients’ needs and the related commercial and operational implications, based on several years of TRA Experience either in Sales or in Mid-Office. He/she is able to support the delivery of a global business development strategy for his area of product expertise per client as well as acquire business with new clients. He/she is aligning the product development strategy with the GTB Sales and the TRA Senior Sales

The TRA Junior Sales reports to the Head of GTPS Desk

The TRA Junior Sales’ main responsibilities are:

Commercial:

• Active interaction with client on product specific structures

• Interactions with central product team in regards to client needs

• Share competitive information on market developments

• Handles complex structures and oversees implementation projects incl. contract negotiations

• Interacts with TRA Colleagues in the network

• Develops client strategy for TRA Business Growth together with GTB Sales and TRA Senior Sales

• Ensures action plans on "Golden Rules" and Profitability are followed

• Keeps GTB Senior Sales Manager informed on critical client topics

Operational:

• Supports as escalation point in case of specific situations from the day-to-day processing of TRA Transactions

• Escalation point for product service failures, interaction with MO/BO Teams accordingly

• Ensures regular interaction with clients regarding service quality and collects related feedback

• Grows the TRA Business with clients of his/her portfolio

• Ensures MyCredit Process is correctly and timely kicked-off in coordination with GTB Sales

• Ensures Risk appetite framework is complied with on his/her scope, including the contribution of the desk to the respect of GTPS Risk appetite statement notably country limits and sectorial limits

Experience and technical skills

• Experience within GTB/TRA and related products

• In depth knowledge of credit processes, documentation and risk management

• Detailed knowledge of TRA processes and products implications incl Risk
