Responsibilities

The TCF Back Office Intern is responsible for the servicing the of corporate and commodity clients with regards to the above products.

  • The Intern must generate invoices which are for transactions under the current billing cycle.
  • The Intern must apply funds received for said invoices to close out accruals.
  • The Intern must make payments to participants under syndicated deals.   
  • The Intern must generate client reports
  •  
  • They must also efficiently process the above via the Invoicing Tool and allTRA in accordance with industry practices and regulatory guidelines (AML, KYC, OFAC, Anti-Boycott)

The function covers:

  • Invoicing clients via Invoicing Tool

  • Applying Accruals in allTRA (twice monthly)

  • Email Invoices to clients / agents

  • Apply funds received for invoices

  • Monitor past due report and trace for payment

  • Generation and mailing of client activity reports

  • Handle investigations for invoicing / reporting

  • Compile LSA / allTRA vs. LIQ reports for the Team for review

  • Monitor expired items

External Clients Relationship:

  • Support the relationships inherent to the transaction, e.g., the applicant (borrower) and the beneficiary; Compliance; Legal; Front and Middle office for the most sensitive or complex deals

  • Effectively support client relationship

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Profile:

  • Must have Microsoft Outlook skills (Word/Excel/Powerpoint/Access)

COMPENSATION:
Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and includes a competitive benefits package including 401(k) plan with company match, medical/dental/vision, and other benefits for fertility, wellness, student loans and commuters.
