Java Developer - Internship

You will be in charge of a Web trading tool used for B2C activity for an equity derivative product(CFD) issued by Societe Generale Investment Bank. The application handles around 1500 products that are priced every second and each price tick is handled in real-time. Clients can also buy/sell the product and check their balance/margin/positions/trades/history in real time and with low latency over the internet. The application is also packaged as a mobile app on Apple store & Google Play.

Your Role in a Nutshell:

•Assist with the translation of business requirements into technical ones
•Show technical expertise and handle development/testing tasks
•Liaises with Infrastructure/middleware teams to ensure proper application configurations and hardware performance efficiencies
•Employs industry standard best practices
•Involved in the submission of solutions designs

•You have good understanding of Java SE (multithreading knowledge would be appreciated)
•Good knowledge of Spring framework, SpringBoot
•Knowledge of distributed architecture and caching mechanisms (e.g. Gigaspaces) would be appreciated
•Knowledge of middleware principles and asynchronous communication
•Knowledge of SQL database principles (e.g. Sybase) would be appreciated
•Previous experience with FIX protocol would be appreciated
•Knowledge of some core development tools used within the company: Kibana, Maven, Jenkins, Git, Sonar
•You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
