Responsibilities

Release Planning & Coordination

  • Own and maintain the release calendar, ensuring alignment across engineering squads, QA, DevOps, and business teams.
  • Coordinate release scope, timelines, and freeze periods.
  • Facilitate release readiness reviews, Go/No‑Go meetings, and post‑release retrospectives.
NRT (Non‑Regression Testing) Management
  • Define, maintain, and optimize NRT plans, ensuring comprehensive coverage for all critical components.
  • Test execution (manual/automation) across all required environments.
  • Ensure timely defect triage, prioritization, and follow‑up with engineering teams.
  • Validate build stability before promoting to higher environments (QA/STAGE/PROD).
Environment & Deployment Oversight
  • Collaborate with DevOps to manage CI/CD pipelines and environment availability.
  • Validate deployment packages, configuration changes, and infrastructure readiness.
  • Monitor deployment progress and troubleshoot issues during release windows.
  • Maintain versioning and configuration control of all releases.
Quality Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to release policies, audit controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Track release KPIs such as deployment success rate, NRT coverage, rollback occurrences, and defect leakage.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase release reliability and reduce cycle times.
Stakeholder Communication
  • Provide clear, concise communication about release status, risks, and impacts to all stakeholders.
  • Publish release notes, deployment artifacts, and change logs.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for release‑related issues.



Profile required

  • Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling (DevOps, Jenkins, Git, etc.)
  • Experience in test management and automation frameworks.
  • Comfortable with configuration management, branching strategies, and deployment orchestration.
  • Highly motivated, good communication, ability to follow the open point till the closure is expected
  • Good in verbal and written communication
  • Agile environment exposure preferred
  • Ownership attitude & good influencing skill is expected
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work under pressure during release cycles.
  • Detail‑oriented with a passion for process improvement.
