OTC Operations Specialist
Responsibilities
Transaction processing: Confirming, recording, controlling, and settling transactions under your responsibility within internal systems and the Clearing;
Providing support to internal and external clients regarding transactions under your responsibility;
Support for internal and external audits;
Monitoring regulations, policies, and procedures relevant to your activities and the department;
Participation in projects related to new products/systems and process improvements;
System testing (UAT) and validation as well as general improvements;
Training and development of staff.
Profile required
- Strong knowledge of capital markets products including NDFs (spot, forward, Asian), swaps (bullet and cash flow, spot and forward, with and without notional adjustment), forwards, futures, options, and fixed income (government and corporate bonds)
- Understanding of operational lifecycle and market infrastructure including B3, SELIC, and overall trade flow
- Knowledge of regulatory, accounting, and internal control frameworks
- Experience with settlement and accrual calculations for financial transactions
- Project management and process improvement skills with focus on efficiency and automation
- Technical knowledge of systems and tools such as SINQIA, B3, DCM, and SELIC, with exposure to automation initiatives
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken)
- Professional experience with a minimum of 5 years in relevant roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively and manage stakeholders
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to anticipate issues and propose effective solutions
- Organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive and adaptable mindset with resilience, dynamism, and focus on continuous improvement and innovation
