QA Lead - Control Assurance
Responsibilities
· The QA Lead will provide an independent assessment of the quality of reviews performed and the opinions issued to ensure alignment with the L2C Methodology Guide and applicable assurance practices. The role aims to strengthen governance, consistency, and audit readiness across reviews.
Skills & deliveries
· Provide an independent and objective view of review quality and assess consistency in control testing across engagements.
· Verify accuracy of assessments and adequacy of supporting evidence and review the quality and completeness of documentation.
· Evaluate the reliability of review results and conclusions and identify improvement areas and promote standardization of practices.
Profile required
Technical:
Fair knowledge of Non-Financial risks in the global banking environment.
This may include the risks related to:
Required
Experience in below topics including but not limited to:
- Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist financing,
- Embargos & Sanctions (EU, OFAC, UN)
- KYC and client due diligence activities
- Laws and regulations related to Anti-Bribery and Corruption
- Prevention of tax evasion and related laws and regulations. E.g. FATCA, CRS,
- Laws and regulations related to Anti-Bribery and Corruption
Functional:
Fair understanding of Risk and control assurance activities which may include audit or control testing experience.
Prior experience in performing testing reviews, discussing and agreeing key issues with senior stakeholders
Fluent Command over English language with excellent report writing and presentation skills.
Experience of working on multi location regional/global reviews.
Good stakeholder management skills which will include both internal and external stakeholders.
