Responsibilities

The Cross-Asset Collateral & Risk Operations (CCR) team within GBIS Operations manages collateral for CCP-cleared OTC and listed products supporting the agency business. 
The role is part of the GBSU/MTR/CCR organization and focuses on collateral, liquidity, and funding management activities.
Key responsibilities include preparing cash flow projections, monitoring funding positions, and ensuring adequate liquidity across accounts.
The position works closely with Treasury, Front Office, Finance, Risk, Operations, CCPs, Clearstream, Euroclear, and custodian banks.
The incumbent must ensure timely fulfillment of margin calls with clients, CCPs, and intercompany entities while complying with regulatory and market deadlines.
Real-time monitoring of collateral balances at clearing houses and funding of nostro and custodian accounts is a critical part of the role.
The candidate must follow settlement procedures, remain aware of market holidays and cut-off times, and prevent any P&L impact to the bank.
Responsibilities include identifying, investigating, resolving, and reporting settlement, accounting, and treasury breaks to minimize operational and financial risk.
The role requires producing process and risk metrics, monitoring operational health, and contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives.
Additionally, the individual will manage CCP collateral activities, resolve discrepancies, identify recurring issues, and coordinate with IT and Operations teams to implement long-term solutions.

Profile required

Profile Required

- Operational Skills with minimum  5 years of professional experience in Investment banking

- Knowledge or previous experience on settlement processes (swifts, correspondent banking) and/or

- Knowledge or previous experience on cleared collateral and treasury breaks management and/or

- Knowledge or previous experience on collateral management (how it works, why it’s used) and/or

- Knowledge on Liquidity Forecasting, Cash Flow Analysis, Funding Management, Treasury Operations

Other Skills

- Relevant experience within the Capital Markets practice, preferably Collateral Operations, including portfolio reconciliations

- Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to deal with external counterparties with minimum or zero assistance.

- Strong stakeholder management experience

- Expertise in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Document with ability to translate ideas into presentation
