Technical Leader

• Lead the technical delivery of risk engine enhancements supporting the fixed income interest rates and fx business
• Own the end to end design implementation and rollout of key risk and pnl capabilities from requirements analysis through to production release
• Act as the technical reference point for the local team providing guidance on architecture design choices code quality and delivery approach
• Partner directly with traders quantitative analysts and business stakeholders to understand requirements challenge assumptions and translate needs into robust technology solutions
• Work closely with global technology teams to align local delivery with the global platform architecture operating model and delivery roadmap
• Drive improvements in system performance scalability reliability monitoring and operational controls
• Provide hands on development in c sharp dot net contributing directly to critical components of the risk engine and related services
• Lead investigation of complex production incidents coordinate resolution across teams identify root causes and implement permanent fixes
• Ensure production releases are well controlled properly tested and monitored post release to minimize operational and trading impact
• Mentor developers in the team promote engineering best practices and help raise the overall technical standard of the platform
• Contribute to backlog prioritization technical planning and delivery tracking in collaboration with the team manager business users and global stakeholders
• Promote a culture of ownership responsiveness technical excellence risk awareness and continuous improvement

• Proven experience in designing developing and supporting mission critical front office applications preferably within fixed income or global markets environments including low latency real time constraints and high availability
• Deep expertise in c sharp and modern dot net ecosystem including core and dot net six plus with strong command of asp dot net and solid understanding of runtime internals performance tuning and memory management
• Strong software engineering fundamentals including mastery of object oriented programming solid principles clean architecture and experience applying design patterns in large scale distributed systems
• Advanced experience with relational databases such as postgresql or equivalent including data analysis performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Proven experience owning distributed business critical applications with demanding performance and availability requirements
• Strong production ownership including complex incident resolution root cause analysis and long term remediation
• Ability to lead major deliveries end to end from requirement shaping and design through release and production stability
• Experience driving delivery across traders quants developers support teams and global technology stakeholders
• Strong engineering discipline across ci cd source control release management observability and delivery governance
• Clear communicator able to influence technical decisions and align business and technology priorities
• Comfortable operating in a high pressure front office environment with competing priorities and visible business impact
• Proactive pragmatic and delivery focused with strong technical judgement and clear ownership

• Experience with risk engines pricing platforms pnl systems or front office trading applications
• Good understanding of fixed income interest rate derivatives and fx products including key risk and pnl drivers
• Experience working in a global technology organization across asia europe and the Americas

Department Description

As part of the Technology department within SG Corporate and Investment Banking, you will join a front-office technology team responsible for the development, enhancement and production support of risk and PnL applications used by the Rates and FX trading business.

Based on the trading floor, the team works in close partnership with traders, quantitative analysts and global technology teams to deliver reliable, responsive and business-aligned solutions for fixed income, interest rate derivatives and FX activities.

This role is for a hands-on Tech Lead who will take technical ownership of the risk engine delivery, ensuring that the platform is robust, scalable, well-controlled and aligned with front-office business needs
