Responsibilities

The Communication Team Germany covers all fields of communication such as:

  • Corporate and Internal Communication
  • Media relations and Social media
  • Internal and External events
  • Advertising and Branding

During your VIE mission you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and update of the Intranet and Internet site in German and English 
  • Autonomous research and writing of articles for the internal communication and the German Group Newsletter
  • Support for or develop presentations and other marketing material
  • Prepare social media posts in close coordination with the respective teams
  • Act as a contact and coordination point for branding and marketing issues 
  • Support and/or organisation of internal and external events
  • Administrational tasks: reports for compliance, dash boards, maintenance of distribution lists, event tracking etc. in the respective tools 
  • Research of different topics to support projects within media relations, branding, corporate communication and PR activities
  • Translations with the help of AI
  • Support of defining prompts for communication activities 

A questionnaire will be provided to you in order to check your VIE (Société Générale and Business France) eligibility. For an efficient analysis of your application, please make sure to truthfully answer all the questions.  

Please note that it is mandatory to provide us a formal proof of your M2 diploma validation before the assignment start date. No VIE mission will start without this document. *Grade sheets are not accepted as justification of diploma.

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:

  • Graduate with a Master degree from Business School or University with a specialization in finance, communication or journalism

Language skills:

  • Fluent in English (B2-C1)

  • Fluent in German

Technical, operational & soft skills:

  • Strong command of MS Office

  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to deal with difficult situations with diplomacy, tact, and confidentiality

  • Ability to think creatively and propose improvements to existing processes and tools

  • Strong communication skills in a fast paced, international environment

  • Highly motivated, curious, consistent and able to work on own initiative

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Frankfurt-am-Main is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
