Responsibilities

Sales Management services has the main responsibilities and key tasks as follows:

  • Management of commercial performance by monitoring the activity: restatements, manipulations and formatting of data
  • Maintenance and completion of reporting for local management and the Business Unit
  • Conducting quantitative analyzes for steering and commercial development
  • Preparation of portfolio reviews and monitoring of equities
  • Ensuring proper adherence to the commercial strategy in terms of Cross-Border (compliance with international client servicing regulations)
  • Monitoring Profit Sharing

Responsabilities:

As part of the Sales Management team, you will contribute to transforming commercial and client data into actionable insights supporting management and business development. Your main responsibilities will include :

  • Collecting, consolidating and analysing commercial data to monitor business activity and key performance indicators

    Preparing regular performance reviews and clear management presentations for local management, commercial teams and the Business Unit

  • Maintaining and improving reporting tools and dashboards, with a strong focus on data quality, efficiency and user experience
  • Conducting quantitative analyses to explain performance, identify trends and highlight business development opportunities
  • Supporting client portfolio reviews by analysing client segments, business potential and commercial activity
  • Participating in the preparation, targeting and monitoring of commercial campaigns and development initiatives
  • Contribute to the monitoring of business referrals between Private Banking entities and the associated profit-sharing arrangements, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Throughout the assignment, you will progressively gain autonomy and develop a strong understanding of Private Banking activities, commercial performance management and data-driven decision-making.    

A questionnaire will be provided to you in order to check your VIE (Société Générale and Business France) eligibility. For an efficient analysis of your application, please make sure to truthfully answer all the questions.  

Please note that it is mandatory to provide us a formal proof of your M2 diploma validation before the assignment start date. No VIE mission will start without this document. *Grade sheets are not accepted as justification of diploma.

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:

  • Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Data Analysis

  • A previous experience in Banking would be appreciated

Language skills:

  • Fluent in English (B2-C1)

Technical, operational & soft skills:

  • A strong interest in data and quantitative analysis, ability to master technical aspects

  • Proficient/Good command of MS Office

  • Results-oriented, ability to work in project mode, strong capability to identify best practices that generate efficiency, improve quality, and foster initiatives
  • Good communication and presentation skills

  • Very good command of Excel and PowerPoint; an interest in data visualisation and business intelligence tools would be an advantage;

  • Strong listening and analytical skills
  • Proactivity, spearheading of proposals


The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Luxembourg is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
