Equity Research Associate Japan Financials (Bernstein Autonomous - Japan)
Responsibilities
Bernstein Autonomous is seeking exceptional talent to join one of our premier Equity Research teams. We are hiring a full-time Research Associate for our Japanese Financials team, led by Hideyasu Ban. Our teams are deliberately lean — typically two to three professionals — so you will carry genuine responsibility from day one and make a direct, meaningful impact on the quality and direction of our work.
Analyze and forecast performance across Japanese financials and other financial institutions
Build and maintain financial models that incorporate evolving business and macro conditions
Conduct deep-dive research into specific topics within the banking sector and Japan’s broader macro-financial system
Write clear, well-reasoned research reports that communicate findings and investment views to clients
Present published research to external and internal clients through presentations, meetings, and calls
Fulfill bespoke client research requests
Profile required
Eligibility:
- Relevant bachelor/master’s degree holders
- Experienced professionals may be considered as Senior Research Associates
About You:
- Proficient in Excel
- Ability to produce innovative ideas
- Rigorous and curious
- Strong communicator
- Excellent organizational skills
- Adaptability and flexibility are essential
- Financial modeling skills and knowledge of the Japanese financial sector are desirable
Language Skills:
- English: Business level
- Japanese: Native level or Level 1 JLPT
