Senior Equity Research Associate (Japan & European Semiconductors) – Bernstein Hong Kong

We are looking for high quality talent to join Bernstein’s premier Equity Research platform in Asia. We are recruiting for full-time Research Associates for the Japan & European Semiconductor team. Our research teams are typically only three to four professionals; therefore, you will have a high level of responsibility and be empowered to make an important contribution. This position will be based in Hong Kong.

As a Senior Research Associate you will:

• Develop expertise in Japan & European Semiconductors working with a Senior Analyst who is a seasoned industry expert.

• Mentor and coach a junior Research Associate

• Become adept at in-depth analysis of your industry and companies.

• Contribute to our highly differentiated written product.

• Build relationships with company managements as well as sales, trading, and institutional clients.

Our Senior Research Associate typically possesses:

• Advanced financial modelling skills including confident knowledge of Excel and/or experience of analyzing financial companies (may have credentials such as the CFA, ACA or CPA)

• 2 to 3 years of experience with Japan & European Semiconductors.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese.

• Track records of outstanding academic performance, including honors and awards.

• Excellent broad-based analytical skills.

• Familiarity with Bloomberg.

• Relentless intellectual curiosity and a drive to excel at the highest level.

• Those with less relevant experience may be considered for Research Associate position
