Project Description:
The role will be part of the ASSU Business Line, in charge of the insurance activities of the Group. The context of the assignment falls more specifically within the IT Department , which is responsible for the evolution of the information system.
AI and Data Science are rapidly becoming strategic drivers within the ASSU organization. To accelerate this transformation, we have created dedicated, cross functional squads within the Data & AI Tribe, bringing together experts committed to solving high impact business challenges through cutting edge technologies.
As part of this community, our Data Scientists collaborate closely to design state of the art models, enhance and scale existing solutions, and deliver AI products that directly support and strengthen our insurance business. You will work on initiatives such as the Document Factory, an advanced platform for automated information extraction from scanned documents, and AI Agents powered by RAG and Generative AI to enable intelligent, context aware interactions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
What you will do:
•You will join a dynamic and innovative team, working as a Senior Data Scientists on topics such as
•Document Factory
•RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and AI Agents – strengthening existing models and scaling them
•Ensuring a strong focus on innovation and continuous technology monitoring
Profile required
•Mastery of data science modeling: training classical models and fine‑tuning deep learning models such as BERT.
•Strong knowledge of Python machine learning packages and libraries related to Generative AI: PyTorch, TensorFlow, Transformers, and LangChain.
•Significant experience in NLP.
•Experience in Computer Vision (OCR and YOLO models for object detection).
•Experience in building a RAG system and solid knowledge of the Generative AI ecosystem (commercial LLMs such as GPT‑4, GPT‑4o, prompting techniques, and open‑source LLMs such as LLaMA 3, Mistral).
•Implementation of metrics to evaluate model performance.
