HR Operations Manager / HR Business Partner
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be able to confidently engage with internal clients, as well as internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to the effective management of the following activities:
- HR Operations: execution and overseeing oversight of HR operations which include payroll, onboarding / offboarding, communication and administration with respect to leave and other benefits communication and administration, HR documentation, invoicing, provision of data for internal dashboards and reporting; responsible for permanent supervision and other internal controls and contributions to internal committees, maintaining proper control of the process in compliance with regulatory requirements and employment laws while continuously improving operational efficiency;
- Career Management: management of specific cases such as international mobilities and high potential employees in addition to the support provided to managers in the development of all staff;
- Performance Management, Promotion & Remuneration: establishment of local training offer, identification and registration of staff for regional training programmes, rollout of annual appraisal campaign, local support to year-end compensation review process and ongoing C&B initiatives
- Recruitment: review of job descriptions, internal and external advertising, referrals, interview administration and follow up
- Project Management: vendor management, expansion of HR offshoring, and other transformation projects.
Profile required
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
• Tertiary qualification with specialisation in HR, psychology, business or related discipline
• Between 3 and 8 years of work experience in HR, ideally in the financial services sector, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in HR Operations and/or Advisory
• A solid knowledge of Australian and/or APAC employment law would be an asset
• Highly proficient in IT, including PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
• Meticulous with a strong attention to detail
• Reliable with an ability to work independently and under pressure
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Mature with a strong sense of confidentiality in the handling of sensitive information
• Creative team player

Department Description
The HR Division’s role is to define and implement collective and individual policies allowing Societe Generale to develop the skills and talents required for the success of its strategy.
The HR team in Australia is responsible for the full spectrum of HR activities onshore and for the deployment of all global, regional and local initiatives.
