Responsibilities

As a Regulatory Risk Specialist, you will gain exposure to a wide range of Corporate & Investment Banking activities while working with stakeholders across functions and geographies. You will help drive strategic transformation projects, improve processes and tools, and support the delivery of regulatory initiatives that enable the business to operate efficiently and compliantly on a global scale.

Your future scope of responsibility will cover:

  • Executing regulatory processes, controls, and monitoring activities

  • Monitoring regulatory obligations, deadlines, and compliance requirements

  • Performing controls and maintaining supporting compliance documentation

  • Supporting Sanctions & Embargoes governance, reporting, and oversight activities

  • Maintaining business continuity, contingency, and operational resilience frameworks

  • Supporting audits, governance forums, and regulatory initiatives

  • Acting as the primary contact for assigned regulatory topics and coordinating with onshore and offshore stakeholders

  • Building strong partnerships to support regulatory compliance and operational excellence

  • Driving process improvements, standardization, automation, and transformation initiatives

Profile required

You will be best suited for this role if:

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Law, Risk Management, or a related discipline

  • You bring relevant experience in Regulatory Operations, Compliance, Risk Management, Financial Crime, or a similar field

  • You have knowledge of Sanctions & Embargoes requirements, regulatory controls, and compliance frameworks

  • You are interested in developing your project management skills and contributing to transformation initiatives

  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • You are fluent in English; knowledge of French would be considered a strong asset

  • You combine strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands and deliver results under pressure
